New Album to be Released Fall 2011 Posted: Aug 20, 2011

We have been working on a new album of original songs and will be releasing it this Fall, date TBA. Our new artist name is "Cases' Creed" and the album is entitled "Not Good At Letting Go". The album consists of 12 brand new songs capturing a wide range of styles in the adult contemporary genre. As songwriters, you often find yourself writing to a specific market. Our goal, however, in creating this album was to write the kind of music we enjoy listening to ourselves. We hope you will enjoy it as well.

In the Round With the Greats ! ! ! Posted: Oct 27, 2007

On Monday night October 22, we were shocked and honored to be chosen to perform a song "In the Round" at the Douglas Corner Cafe in Nashville TN. Our demo had been selected by staff and faculty at the Nashville Songwriter's Assoc. International as part of Song Camp 301. If this wasn't exciting enough in and of itself, the writers we were allowed to share our music in the Round with are 6 of songwriting's most successful writers. They included Hugh Prestwood ("The Song Remembers When" for Trisha Yearwood) Angela Kaset ("Something In Red" for Lori Morgan) Don Henry ("Where Have You Been" for Kathy Mattea) Rick Beresford ("If Drinkin' Don't Kill Me" for George Jones) James Dean Hicks ("Jesus & Mama" for Confederate Railroad) and Ralph Murphy ("Talking In Your Sleep" for Crystal Gayle). The song we performed was "Angels on the Sidelines" which we dedicated to our fellow writers at the Song Camp. The rest of the night was filled with many of the hit songs these 6 writers created, and a few of their newer creations as well. For us, it was an evening we will never forget. Thanks to NSAI for sponsoring the event and to the talented writers above who shared their insights into songwriting during the 3 day camp.

...HOT-HOT-HOT in Hillbilly Hollywood! Posted: Aug 19, 2007

Well, we've been in Nashville for 5 weeks now soaking up the creativity and the heat. The temperature has been hovering around 100 F for weeks now, but I think we're getting used to it. We've written & produced 2 new songs since we arrived. We should have them posted on our Song page by the end of next week, if all goes well in the studio. Lynn has been very busy rehearsing & tracking vocals in the studio on the new songs and a number of our previously demoed songs. We've been to the Bluebird Cafe 4 times now and heard performances from over a dozen different hit songwriters. The Bluebird Cafe is "THE" premier songwriters' venue in North America and internationally renowned. We are learning so much about the music business and the challenges of promoting our songs in this highly competitive market. The main lesson learned so far is that it's all about writing a song so good that no one can ignore it, and then getting it to the right person, at the right time, when they are in the right mood to listen. How's that for odds?

Keep in Touch! It's great to hear how Y'all are doin'!

Livin' in Music City!!! Posted: Jul 19, 2007

We arrived in Nashville last Friday and have been busy setting up and settling in to our songwriting hide-away in Mulberry House. Our hosts, Catherine and Doug made us feel at home immediately. Lynn will be in the studio on Monday doing the vocal tracks for 5 of our original songs. It's exciting to be here and we look forward to the weeks ahead.
